NOVA International Schools is the leading co-educational, English medium day school with educational programs ranging from PK to Grade 12. The school was established in 1997 to offer exceptional opportunities for growth and development to children of expatriates and local families residing in Skopje. On behalf of our client, DEKRA is looking for:

  • HR Generalist

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintain updated employee portfolios, including updated electronic records across different school platforms, and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations;
  • Assist in recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and communication with candidates;
  • Measure and analyze recruitment data and report on trends;
  • Be responsible for employee registration and coordinate employee transition and onboarding;
  • Facilitate the registration process for expat employees, including work/residence permits, criminal background checks, and necessary documentation;
  • Liaise with government authorities and legal advisors to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations;
  • Ensure effortless transition and adjustment of expat employees by assisting in relocation, providing support for navigating local amenities, and assisting expats in settling into their new neighborhood and becoming familiar with the city;
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff on HR related matters;
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with the school’s strategic goals and legal requirements, while keeping them up-to-date;
  • Provide support to the HR Manager in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management;
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and leave management in close cooperation with the accounting team and external stakeholders;
  • Provide HR statistics reports;
  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and effectiveness;
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an HR-related field;
  • Minimum of C1 level of English language proficiency.
