What is the role about?
- Provide expertise to ensure standardized HR practices and documented processes that drive team member experience throughout the life cycle
- Drive a progressive, proactive, inclusive and positive culture, resulting in increased levels of engagement, enablement, and retention
- Harness the existing culture and values when building out internal people-related policies
- Collaborate with CxO and other leaders in fostering a culture of empowerment and performance
- Apply understanding workforce needs to scale the company while managing costs, staying competitive with total rewards, and maintaining a positive team member experience
- Lead L&D initiatives that drive company growth while focusing on company culture, individual development, strengthening our leadership, and organizational learning
- Develop and implement effective training programs for Semos Cloud employees
- Assess, identify, and shape People Operations strategy, policy, or process improvements that move the business towards continuous growth and improvement
- Provide strategy and oversight of the administration of our compensation, benefits, work to refine and improve our global compensation frameworks
- Manage talent initiatives from recruiting and onboarding to employee retention and offboarding
- Help with measuring company and teams’ OKRs
- Implement a global program for evaluating performance and providing feedback
- Oversee the resolution to team member questions in a proactive and sensitive manner
- Oversee the accuracy, maintenance, and security of team member data
- Help with implementation and adoption of ATS and HRIS
To be successful in this role, you need:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a People Success or an HR manager position
- International HR or People Ops experience
- Advanced interviewing competency
- Experience in designing recruitment plans and hire according to that plan
- A deep understanding of recruiting tactics, metrics, and capacity planning
- Experience in scaling teams and processes
- Experience working in high growth environments. As an example, you could have worked at an organization that has more-than-doubled the number of team members year over year
- Advanced problem-solving competency (experience in resolving company – employee, employee-employee, or team-team challenges)
- Advanced HR consulting competency (experience improving the effectiveness of the executive team)
- Experience developing career paths, promotion reviews, compensation cycles
- Proficient English, both spoken and written
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
